Where are we and how to get to us?
- We are only a 6 minute walk down a gravel driveway to the first beach.
- About 10 minutes to the center of West End
- Once you arrive at the airport, we can arrange for pick-up to bring you to the apartment with a stop at the grocery store on the way for a fee of $35 straight to the house, or $45 to include a stop at the store to stock up.
- We can also stop at or arrange another trip to drop your gear at the dive shop

- Most of our outdoor furniture is made by a local Honduran wood-worker. The same man, Don Tonio, was who cut down many of our trees in the construction and clean-up phase of our build. He used wood from the construction site AND our trees to build our outdoor furniture with fun designs. Check out our lovely sculptures: fish, octopus and hummingbird. We love to support locals whenever possible! Speaking of which, our builders and the entire crew were local Hondurans.
- Our builders, Colins Development: https://colinsdevelopment.com/ are from mainland Honduras. Their father is also a cabinet and furniture maker. He has built all of the cabinetry, doors and lots of the hard-wood furniture, including beds, side tables, stools, tv shelf, closets, desk/workspace and coffee tables from the gorgeous, local hardwood: Laurelwood.
- Some homes in Roatan are concrete built. We chose to go with a wood build. Why? The wood breaths and allows for "airing out" vs concrete that traps moisture inside.
- We worked with our builders to analyze the property and design the layout of the building to maximize air-flow and trade-winds to allow for nice breezes to cool the home naturally.
- As you can see, the home is built high on concrete footings. Why? We wanted to take advantage of the space under the house to park cars, store things, and also will have an indoor/outdoor kitchen and entertaining area as well as a shaded area adjacent to a sunny pool. In addition, getting up off the ground allowed for BOTH apartments to have beautiful sea and sunset views.
- Everything in West End is walkable from apartment, including dozens of restaurants, stores and dive shops.
Rates:
*Each 2-bedroom, 1/bath apartment can be rented separately or the entire house can be rented.

Rates start at $140/night per apartment for rentals in low season and $190/night in high season and holiday weeks.
You can also rent the entire house starting at $320/night

Low Season: June - November

Electricity is charged separately . Most people use about $50/week and up to $100-$150 if AC is used excessively.
